MARRIED at First Sight UK is raking in the ratings – unlike Big Brother.
The show's viewership has roared ahead in the ratings this series – with the show even achieving its highest figures yet.
Despite, E4's beloved series, Big Brother, being revived after five years, MAFS has even beatĀ the iconic reality programme's early ratings figures for last night's viewing.
In its first two weeks, Married at First Sight UK averaged 2M individuals an episode and a jaw-dropping 1.2 billion minutes viewed across all platforms – a 20% increase from the last series.
But it's no surprise that the show is a hit, with it's constant drama including marriage scandals and bullying rows.
It seems that the clashes and relationship struggles are favoured by 16-34-year-olds as E4 was the #1 channel with 16-34-year-olds during MAFS UKās launch in the 9pm slot.

The first two weeks of MAFS UK were even up by an eye-watering 49% increase in streaming views.
Karl Warner, Head of Youth and Digital at Channel 4 said: āNot only is this yearās MAFS UK the biggest ever series with more episodes and more couples, but weāve had our biggest EVER MAFS UK launch on E4.
"The first two weeks have seen millions tuning in for each episode and an amazing young share that helped crown E4 as the number 1 channel for youngs in the 9pm slot.

One drama in particular has had viewers coming back for more – Brad and Shona's rollercoaster relationship.
Viewers ofĀ MAFS UKĀ watched last night as the couple were told by expertsĀ Paul BrunsonĀ andĀ Mel SchillingĀ thatĀ they would be going home.
Whilst a verbal altercation at one of the dinner parties being blamed for their exit – some fans had other ideas.
Ā Some have speculated that things may have escalated between them off camera.
