Susanna Reid has shared her new hairstyle with fans after posting a gorgeous selfie on X, formerly known as Twitter, before making her return to Good Morning Britain.
The 52 year old has swapped her long brunette locks for a bob and has had blonde highlights added to her hair.
Grinning for the camera in a mirror selfie, she captioned the picture: “NEW TERM – NEW TRIM! Back @gmb tomorrow with @edballs. Looking forward to seeing you from 6am”
Fans replied to her post to compliment the TV presenter as one wrote: “Hope you enjoyed your summer holidays – looks good and suits you!”
Another said: “Looking forward to seeing you Susanna! Nice haircut btw!!” with a thumbs up and winking face emojis.
A third penned: “Love the new haircut! Suits you Susanna!”
The Good Morning Britain presenter returned to the show today (4 September) after taking a break for the summer holidays.
Before she headed off on her summer break, she fired back at trolls after they criticised her as a presenter, saying that her “standards have fallen” and calling her a “bad” presenter.
One user wrote: “The fact you are talking about a Barbie which is a child’s film on a serious news show shows how far your standards have fallen and how bad you have got as a presenter…”
Susanna took notice of the troll and fired back, writing: “We run a three hour show packed with serious and lighter news items, interviews and debates to appeal to a wide range of viewers. Barbie may not be the item that appeals to you, but it will to others.”
She also wasn’t having any negative talk when it came to her skills as a television host writing that she had been “nominated for a BAFTA, RTS & TRIC Award so it seems I’m getting better as a presenter.”
The TV star recently opened up about the birth of her second child and said that it was “difficult” after having a cesarean section with her first.
Talking on GMB, she said: “I had to have an emergency caesarean with my first child, I had the birthing pool all set up, and I wanted a natural birth – but it didn’t work out that way.
“The second time around, I was advised by a consultant to have another caesarean but I wanted to try again. I had quite a difficult second birth.”
Susanna shares three children, Sam, 21, Finn, 19, and Jack, 18, with her ex Dominic Cotton who she was with for 16 years.
