Love Islands Davide Sanclimenti eyeing up dream Im A Celeb stint

Love Island winner Davide Sanclimenti was a fan favourite in the 2022 summer series. His catchphrases went down in the show's history as some of the most iconic.

And now it appears the Italian star has his sights set on taking part in I'm A Celebrity.

The 28 year old told The Daily Star, he wants to "push himself" to the limit.

Fans will remember how quickly he fell for fellow islander, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu , with their love story keeping viewers hooked. After six weeks in the villa, they were crowned winners of the 9th series, beating Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page and Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope.

Their romance took a dramatic turn when they announced their split just months after returning to the UK. But, luckily, they managed to patch things up two months later.

When asked about future plans, he confessed his dream of joining I'm A Celeb.

He said: "When I was in Italy, I was always watching shows like Survivor and I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! My dream would be to be on an island alone and survive."

He also confessed his biggest fear about competing on the show – bugs. Davide admitted: "Any kind of insect, I can't cope with that."

He added that while he's "scared" he would do the show to "challenge" himself and would also consider an appearance on Strictly Come Dancing.

It isn't just Davide who is venturing into other reality shows. His girlfriend Ekin-Su, took part in Dancing On Ice earlier this year.

She was partnered up with pro skater Brendyn Hatfield and became the third contestant to be voted off after losing in the skate-off to Patsy Palmer.

It's a show Davide would consider doing too.

He said: "I will do any show that will challenge myself in different ways, so Dancing on Ice I would do because it will be challenging with the training and working on the show."
