Kelly Brook teases new farming show to rival Clarkson’s Farm

Heart FM presenter Kelly Brook has filmed a pilot for a TV show that could see her face off against Jeremy Clarkson for the title of top telly farmer.

However, rather than freezing in the English countryside as she harvests crops, as Jeremy does on Clarkson’s Farm, the 43-year-old’s show is set in the far more exotic location of Arpino in Italy.

Kelly’s husband Jeremy Parisi hails from the area and his family own an olive farm there.

Last autumn the couple, who were married in July last year, visited with a TV crew in tow in order to shoot the pilot for a new show which Kelly is “hoping one day” will get picked up by a channel.

Taking to Instagram she shared a carousel of images from the shoot with her 1.3 million followers and explained the concept.

“Last autumn, my husband and I filmed a pilot on his family farm in Italy during the olive harvest and captured the beauty of where he is from and the beautiful family I married into,” she explained.

“We are not sure if this pilot will ever become a TV show, however, we are hoping one day it might.

“Arpino is where we were married and is definitely a place we will be spending more time in the future and I’m looking forward to learning more about the business of olive oil farming.”

She went on to thank the production company Fulwell 73 for “making this dream a reality and capturing so many wonderful moments on film.”

The company is co-run by James Corden, brothers Gabe and Ben Turner, and directors Leo Pearlman and Ben Winston.

While this is far from Kelly’s first foray into TV presenting the move is a surprising one as she recently told Express.co.uk she prefers the privacy afforded to her now that she works in radio.

“Now I’m working on the radio and I’m not in people’s living rooms every week, I’m not really putting myself out there in that way consciously.

“It’s because I’m enjoying that level of privacy and not being followed by paparazzi and being scrutinised all the time.

“So that’s why I made the move to broadcast radio making me a bit more niche and that’s brought me a lot of peace.”
