Jack Fincham admits Celeb Ex on the Beach axe en route to airport after keeping drug-drive arrest secret from MTV bosses | The Sun

JACK Fincham has broken his silence on being axed from Celebs Ex on the Beach.

The reality star admitted he was sacked from filming the series while en route to the airport – after keeping his drug-drive arrest secret from MTV bosses.

In an emotional interview with The Sun, Jack opened up about addiction battle since winning Love Island in 2018.

Alongside using class A drugs, including cocaine, Jack admits taking at least 30 diazepam pills a day to cope with his crippling anxiety.

Jack was arrested by police in August for drug-driving, for which investigations are ongoing.

He insists he has been clean ever since – and his conviction in October has helped change his life.

Admitting he was banned from appearing on MTV's Celebs Ex on the Beach, Jack told us: "I literally had my bags packed and in hand, walking to the taxi to go to the airport when I got a call.

"I was told I was being stood down this time and that I couldn't go.

"It was embarrassing. I'd just said bye to my neighbours and then suddenly I had to turn around.

"MTV said they think I'm great and they love me, but until that case is closed they can't have me on the show."

Jack had not informed show bosses of his latest arrest, which came fives months after he was accused of the same charge.

"They saw it in the newspapers," Jack said.

"Of course I didn't want to tell them. I have so much I need to pay for.

He has been arrested three times for drug-driving and in October was handed a 36-month driving ban and given 60 hours' community service.

Jack has vowed to turn over a new leaf insisting he's been clean since August – the longest he's been drug-free since his eight-week stretch in the Love Island villa in 2018.
