Gogglebox fans praised Ellie Warner for “normalising” breastfeeding her baby while featuring in the hit Channel 4 show.
Ellie and her sister Izzi, who have starred on the show since 2015, kicked back on their sofa on Friday evening (September29) to catch up on the latest TV when Ellie was seen breastfeeding her baby. The sisters were engaging in a chat about a recent family meal out while the adorable little one was laid across Ellie’s lap.
Ellie’s adorable baby Ezra has featured on the show many times since he was born in June.
Fans praised the Gogglebox star for “normalising” breastfeeding as one person wrote on X, formally known as Twitter: “Normalizing Breastfeeding on #Gogglebox Love it!!!!”.
Another added: “As a new mama who is breastfeeding, this made me so happy to see!”, while a third said: “Brilliant to see breastfeeding being normalised on #gogglebox this evening. Well done Ellie. Great to see on telly.”
Ellie introduced the newborn on the Channel 4 show in June as she held her son in the opening moments of the show. The baby boy is her and her partner Nat Eddlestone's first child.
A few minutes after the scenes had aired, Ellie also shared a snap of her adorable son on social media, as she revealed his name for the very first time.
Alongside the image, Ellie wrote "Sweet baby Ezra. He has made our lives complete. We love you so much son."
Ellie gave birth to her baby in her home and shared an insight into her experience to mark International Home Birth Day on June 6.
The star shared a picture where she was sat in a birthing pool in her living room and cradling her son. In the background, proud partner Nat looks on in wonder. Ellie simply captioned the image: "International home birth day [heart emoji] Was literally the best day of my life".
Fans flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts as one said: "Awesome photo, you did so well, good to see more babies being born at home now”, while another penned: “This is amazing!!! So glad you got the birth you wanted babes, you're incredible".
Ellie first confirmed news of her pregnancy on an episode of Gogglebox back in December, going on to share a sweet photo to her Instagram page, where she cradled her bump and joked: "Belly full of Christmas dinner."
