Emmerdale star Amy Walsh has teased an “explosive” Christmas storyline amid her character’s shock affair.
The actress, who plays Tracy Tracy Metcalfe, appeared alongside on-screen lover Caleb (William Ash) on This Morning on Thursday (December 7). And it seems things are going to take a dramatic turn for the pair in the Dales this Christmas.
Fans of the soap will recall how Tracy and Caleb, who is Tracy's husbands uncle, have not been able to take their hands off each other, since starting their saucy affair. And on This morning, host Rylan was quick to get the soap gossip.

Quizzing Amy about the soap's Christmas storyline, he asked: “Maybe this might come to a bit of head on Christmas?” Looking coy, Amy replied: “You could say that."
She added, while giggling: I don’t know what you could say." Actor William, then chimed in and said: “It’s quite explosive isn’t it.”
Explaining, Amy said; “They spend Christmas together, the whole family. They’re [Tracy and Caleb] kind of excited to spend time together. Even though it’s weird.”
Emma then asked Amy: “Do you like it when you see storylines like this coming?” The actress replied: “You do, yeah. Especially for my character. I’ve had a lot of sad victim storylines which I’ve loved also, but my dad died and my ex-husband had cancer.
"There’s been quite a lot of stuff where Tracy has been a victim,' she added. "So for me to be like a bad one it’s kind of exciting. I want to be the villain. And you’re playing so much more," Amy quipped.
As for what fans think, they're convinced Tracy will end up pregnant. On social media site X – formerly known as Twitter – one user penned: "Wonder if Tracy will get pregnant in time for Christmas said absolutely everybody #emmerdale."

Another agreed: “Tracy & Caleb don't respect themselves very much. Please don't tell me there's another, 'who's the daddy, storyline,' it's not necessary #Emmerdale.” A third echoed: “So now Tracy's going to sleep with Nate. Oh dear, that's not good #Emmerdale.
But they aren't the only couple in the village having a steamy affair. Further down the road, Jacob Gallagher is infatuated with Victoria Sugden.
