Coronation Street teaser as Joseph is ‘poisoned’
Coronation Street’s Daniel Osbourne (played by Rob Mallard) finally found out the truth about Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) and Ryan Connor’s (Ryan Prescott) affair. Daisy and Ryan first began their affair earlier this year after helping one another through their trauma of the acid attack.
Whilst Daisy was adamant that she was with Daniel and didn’t want to be with Ryan, she couldn’t help but give in to her feelings. Their affair soon became more complicated when Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) caught them and began to blackmail them.
Daniel had almost caught the couple during their trip to a hotel, and Ryan later confessed to Daniel that he told her he loved her, but was shot down to keep their relationship going. However, now they must come to a decision as Daniel found out about their affair.
During tonight’s episode, Ryan began making a video for his gym job application when Daisy arrived at the flat.
As she entered, he simply asked: “What do you want?” leaving her to quip back: “Well that’s nice it is lovely to see you too.

“Why are you being like this with me? You blanked me in the cafe earlier as well,” leaving him to confess: “Ok, fine.
“I am trying to keep my distance, obviously I still have feelings for you. I can’t just forget what happened Daisy. We slept together and it was amazing.”
Daisy jumped in: “It was also wrong and I love Daniel and we are getting married. Put us behind you, focus on Crystal she is great.”
Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) walked in on the pair and noticed their shift in attitude, before eyeing Ryan’s video recording as they walked out of the flat.

As Daniel arrived to visit Ken Barlow (William Roache), he received a text from Simon which contained the video and the confession of Ryan and Daisy sleeping together.
Asking Simon if he knew anything else, Daniel said: “So he doesn’t know you have seen it? Why did you watch it?
Simon reiterated: “They were acting suspicious when I came in. I saw his phone was still recording and thought there was something worth checking out on it.”
Furious, Daniel exclaimed: “I bet he was at that hotel that night, one of the times. I can’t think straight, I still can’t believe she has done this to me.
“All that Crystal stuff, that was the beginning, she was flirting with him, it has been months. She has lied about everything else.
“I don’t know this isn’t a playground, we’re not teenagers we’re engaged. I better go…” before he returned home to see Daisy playing with Bertie Osbourne (Rufus Morgan-Smith).
As he rewatched the video over and over, he told Daisy: “I’m going to go for a walk, just need some fresh air I think.”
On a mission, he walked up behind Ryan and stared at him, leaving the DJ to ask: “You alright?”
Daniel simply stated: “Fine.” Will he confront Ryan or try and make his relationship work with Daisy?
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
