Shoppers go wild over £49 high street sequin co-ord that’s ‘perfect’ for Christmas party season – and people ‘can’t believe’ where it’s from

A £49 F&F silver sequin co-ord is proving to be a hit with fashionistas on a budget – as fans rush to get their hands on it in time for Christmas.

The dazzling set, shared by fashion influencer Anisha Gurung (@aanishagurung_) on TikTok, comprises a bomber jacket, £29.50, and midi skirt, £19.50, adorned with sparkling sequin embellishment. 

Anisha, from London, captioned the clip: ‘I think I have found the most beautiful sequin set for festive season, and you won’t believe where it’s from!’

This left many viewers in disbelief when she revealed her party-ready ensemble was by the supermarket brand F&F at Tesco. 

The post, which has racked up 30.5K views, received an influx of complimentary comments, including ‘So beautiful’ and ‘I love it’, alongside heart and fire emojis. 

The festive two-piece is part of The F&F Edit, created in collaboration with model and brand ambassador, Abbey Clancy. The range also features a satin utility co-ord, ombre sequin mini dress, faux fur coat and silver trousers – all available in sizes 6-22 at selected Tesco stores.

The standout sequin bomber jacket features a collarless neckline, zip-up front and an elasticated hem and cuffs. Meanwhile, the high-waisted midi skirt is accentuated by a revealing thigh-high slit. 

Coming in at under £50 for the set, it’s unsurprising this look has been an instant hit with style-savvy shoppers on a budget. 

Body-positivity influencer Alex Light, from London, is also a fan of the new range. She modelled the eye-catching co-ord on Instagram, demonstrating its suitability even for a mum-to-be. 

Alex teamed her bomber jacket and midi skirt with a white T-shirt and black strappy sandals, accessorising with layered gold jewellery. 

The post has garnered almost 700 likes and received plenty of praise from her loyal following. ‘So pretty,’ one gushed. Another added: ‘I need this immediately!’

One notable feature of this co-ord is its versatility – the pieces can be worn together or separately, offering several outfit possibilities. And the £19.50 silver skirt, in particular, has blown up on social media.

In a party-themed post, she teamed the F&F embellished skirt with a velvet top in a similar hue, prompting viewers to leave comments, including ‘Wow’, ‘Gorgeous’ and ‘Just bought this skirt – in love!’. 

Elsewhere, Leah Jane (@leah_jane___) took to Instagram to share her take on the must-have skirt.

Teaming the glistening midi with a cream jumper and silver heels earned the mid-size influencer comments, such as ‘You look gorgeous’, ‘Incredible’ and ‘Love this skirt’.  

F&F’s festive designs seem to appeal to different generations too, as Val (@embracingfifty) from Scotland also successfully embraced the sequinned look. 

Val showcased the silver skirt with the brand’s satin utility shirt and suede heels before swapping to a chunky red knitted jumper and knee-length boots – receiving countless heart emojis for her efforts.
