For Moschino, the execution of fashion has always harbored an exuberant and lively cadence. For the brand’s new collection for the Pre-Fall 2024 season, this same energy continues with a fusion of style notes.
The new collection is inspired by the vision of Franco Moschino. Specifically, how Moschino looked to personalities ranging from energetic youth, rock ‘n’ roll denizens, sophisticated corporate adults, nightclub attendees and more to inform his sentiments. With it, the house has reinvented some of its signature styles alongside five archival pieces for a taste of “the same old chic.”
The collection has an appetite for the classic and contemporary as seen through overcoats, wrap trench coats, pleated pants, flared jeans and more. But where the brand adds the spark is through eye-catching fabrications that liven timeless silhouettes. For example, a shimmery red skirt, shimmery red dress, cheetah-print mini-dress and black and white heart-patterned dress immediately catch the eye. But other details like fringed sleeves that line leather and denim jackets alongside crisp white button-down shirts also stand out. Finishing off the pieces is a range of slogans worn as accessories that appear across several collection pieces.
