A foodie created a ‘little bit of heaven’ with his festive airfryer pigs in blanket garlic bread.

Stuart Snowden, from Sheffield, who better known as the Grumpy Northern Foodie, took to his TikTok to share the mouth watering Christmas treat.

The father-of-three, who is an experimental home cook and author of Quirky Kitchen, stuffed a garlic bread baguette with pigs in blankets, topped it with brie cheese and cranberry sauce, before adding a pot of gravy for dipping.

In the clip, which racked up over 1.4 million views, he explained: ‘Guys, you’re in for a treat with this one.

‘This is pigs in blanket and brie stuffed garlic bread. I’ve been mega excited to make this recipe, and, guys, it is not going to disappoint.

‘This one is dead easy to make and I’m going to show you how.’

He continued: ‘You can either make your own pigs in blankets, or buy them ready made. All you need to do is get them cooking in the air fryer.’

Speaking about the garlic bread base, he recommended the frozen baguettes you can buy in the supermarket.

He added: ‘Gently slice down the middle [of each baguette] and be gentle when prizing it open.

‘Then just fill the bottom with a little bit of grated cheese [of your choice] and pop it in the oven for five minutes.’

Next, it’s time to take your packet of brie and prepare it to be placed into the bread.

He went on to say: ‘With the brie, cut off all the edges, because they don’t taste very nice when they’re melted.’

‘Once your garlic bread is partially cooked, get your pigs in blankets out of the air fryer and get stuffing that garlic bread.’

He showed how he first added a layer of the mini bacon-wrapped sausages in a line, before loading the chopped brie on top.

The final step is to ‘pop the whole thing back in the oven for another five minutes.’

For the finishing touch he spread on some cranberry sauce and put a pot of gravy for with the treat meal for dipping.

The home cook ended the clip saying: ‘Welcome to a little bit of heaven!’
