Central Perk Coffee Co. To Open Its First Coffeehouse … in Boston

The timeless Friends‘ eatery and hang-out spot Central Perk Coffeehouse is getting its first IRL brick-and-mortar location, and it’s not in NYC, but rather tucked inside a brownstone in the heart of Boston‘s Back Bay. Backed by a Tom Colicchio-curated menu – head Top Chef judge and James Beard Award Winner – the cozy cafe will offer a full Friends-themed food and drink menu, as well as six original coffee blends in various formats.

Drinks will span Princess Consuela’s Banana Mocha blend and Chandler’s Chocolate Milk Cold Foam, as well as a selection of beer, wine and cordials – espresso martinis included. The food selection sees Master Baker Melissa Weller’s Signature CP Bagel, Joey’s Meatball Sandwich, Rachel’s Side Salad, Grandma’s Chicken Salad, Weekend at Caesars Salad, Mama’s Little Bakery Cheesecake, and many more nostalgic, familiar dishes that Colicchio describes as “inviting and simple dishes …  best enjoyed with a cup of coffee or a premium cold brew.”

Central Perk Coffeehouse’s imminent opening was a collaborative effort, combining the likes of Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment’s team with the design efforts of award-winning New York architects, Glen & Co, who ensured the cozy coffeehouse emulated the on-screen one even in subtle detailing. In addition to the cafe’s two outdoor patios and a charming streetside parklet, the location also boasts a cozy Orange Sofa room, inspired by the iconic Central Perk couch.

A selection of Central Perk Coffee Co.-themed apparel, drink and kitchenware, and collectibles are currently all available for purchase at Central Perk’s site, with more merchandise expected to land in the coming weeks and upon its opening. Central Perk’s original coffee blends are also available to purchase in the store or online. Check out the photos in the gallery above.

Central Perk Coffeehouse will open its doors sometime in October, at the below location:
