The Chase host Bradley Walsh was left floored after he accused show bosses of “taking the mickey.”
The hit ITV gameshow was back on TV screens on Saturday (September 2) for a celebrity edition as telly legend Bradley welcomed four stars.
As fans tuned in for the primetime programme, the host introduced celebs Lance Ellington, Beth Tweddle, Bob Champion and Sally Lindsay before they battled it out to take home the all-important cash prize.

This week the quartet were up against Jenny Ryan who made sure to bring her A-game against the wise quizzers.
However, things took an awkward turn when Bradley was left red-faced when the show’s bosses seemed to play a trick on him.
Reading out the autocue to tease which Chaser could be making an appearance, Bradley said: “Maybe it’s the Menace, he does all his work with just a handful of tiny brain cells.”
Carrying on reading the autocue, Bradley went on: “Ditto.”
However, it suddenly dawned on show favourite Brad that show bosses had added in the ‘Ditto’ just for him.
Stopping in his tracks, he quizzed: “That’s against me innit?” as the studio audience started to laugh.
“That’s a joke on me. ‘Ditto’ – they’re taking the mickey out of me!” he proclaimed.
Lance Ellington, Beth Tweddle and Bob Champion all managed to beat The Chaser and bring home a total of £8,000.
It was then Corrie legend Sally's turn to bag some cash for charity.

And in a shocking turn of events, the actress went for Jenny's highest offer: a whooping £152,000.
But unfortunately for Sally was caught by Jenny just one question from home and was sent home empty-handed.
The remaining trio then went against Jenny for the final chase, hoping to take £2,666 each for their charity.
The team managed to get 15 questions right in the final round, but Jenny caught them with 28 seconds remaining.
