Stephen Lustig-Webb and his husband Daniel have fuelled speculation they could return to Gogglebox after joining the show’s stars for a night out.
The pair quit the Channel 4 programme this year after a long stint as armchair critics, saying they had decided it was the right time “to move on and explore other opportunities”. But they were recently spotted partying with other members of the Gogglebox cast, raising the question of whether they could be returning to the fold.
A snap doing the rounds on social media showed a host of Gogglebox cast members gathered together for a night out. Captioned “Gogglebox family all together”, it showed Stephen and Daniel in the midst of the crowd.

If they were to return, it would no doubt thrill their army of fans. Stephen appeared on the show from the first series, with a friend, then with his mum and then with hubby Daniel, who he married in 2018. The pair said goodbye in September in a sweet post on Instagram that was captioned: “After an incredible 10 years…”
Their statement said: “After careful consideration, Daniel and I have decided we will not be returning for the new series of Gogglebox. We feel the time is right to move on and explore other opportunities.
“We would both like to thank Channel 4 and Studio Lambert for letting us be part of this amazing, funny and heartwarming show. We are extremely thankful to the cast and crew, or Gogglebox family as we call them, and of course the fans, thank you for all of your love and support over the years."
After leaving Gogglebox, Stephen was due to be a contestant on Dancing On Ice, but he had to pull out after injuring himself during training. The TV star took a tumble and ended up with a broken ankle, ruling himself out of the ITV ice-skating competition for this series.
He told fans on Instagram at the time: “Thank you for all of your kind words and messages. On Wednesday last week during my training session for Dancing On Ice I fell and broke my left ankle."
Sharing a snap of himself stretched out on the sofa in a cast, he went on: "I’ve had surgery and will be on crutches for a few months meaning, I’ve had to leave the competition which I’m absolutely gutted about." The TV star said that he had been having "so much fun" on the ice show and that he been "enjoying learning to skate".
