Emmerdale star Natalie Ann Jamieson has been at the forefront of some huge storylines since taking over the role of Amy Wyatt from Chelsea Halfpenny back in 2019.
Just recently viewers have watched Amy step in to help support her sister Chloe Harris navigate the emotional rollercoaster of a pregnancy scare this week. Amy herself gave birth to her son Kyle when she was just 17 years old, after being fostered by Val and Eric Pollard as a teenager, so will no doubt have some reassuring guidance for her sister.
But away from the Yorkshire village, Natalie's life is miles away from her character…
Love life
While Natalie tends to keep her love life fairly quiet, she has sometimes offered a glimpse inside her relationship with her boyfriend. Last year, she posted a series of loved-up snaps together as they attended a wedding.
A few weeks before, the couple took a romantic trip to Lisbon together where they ate breakfast in the sunshine and ate oysters while sampling the local vino. Offering a closer insight, the Emmerdale star also posted a sweet caption when celebrating Valentine's Day back in 2021.
Posting a selfie together, Natalie gushed: "I don’t really do soppy but this Valentines I think this guy needs a big shout out. He has put up with me every second of every day during lockdown… plus the ten years or so prior to that so I would say he deserves a medal! HAPPY VALENTINES.
"We’re about to celebrate with a glass of sparkling water in our PJ’s… who says romance is dead?! TBH, last years lockdown drove us to drink so much we got bored of it! So watching the footy in our PJ’s it is. Lovely jubbly.
"That’s it, that’s as soppy as I’ll ever get. I hope you have people in your life that make you smile as much as this, that’s all you’ll ever need!"
Her beau has certainly made more of an appearance on Natalie's Instagram in the last few years or so, much to the delight of fans. Although not much else is known about the couple and how long they've been together for, but the posts hint that it's been a fair few years!
Co-star pal and EastEnders bestie
The TV star is known to be close pals with EastEnders and Casualty star Maddie Hill as they attended the same drama school. Talking about their relationship, Natalie previously told What To Watch: "A lot of our friends from drama school have been really successful, my best friend is Maddie Hill, who played Nancy in EastEnders and Ruby in Casualty.
"Maddie's on-screen romance on EastEnders was obviously with Himesh Patel's character, Tamwar, and he lives round the corner from us. We have become really good friends with him through Maddie! He's even in our quiz team and will appear on our podcast."
Aside from posting the occasional loved-up snap, Natalie is seen to be an avid Pride supporter, having previously attended London and Leeds Pride with ITV. The TV star is also frequently sharing photos from sun-soaked getaways, festivals and times spent with friends.
Just a few days ago, Natalie posted a snap with Emmerdale co-star Olivia Bromley who plays the role of Dawn Taylor, as they drank in the sunshine while in robes. It was unclear where the pair were, but the snap hinted at a possible spa day.
