Big Brother fans fume as TikTok star confirmed after contestants leaked

First look at the new Big Brother diary room

Some Big Brother fans have been left unimpressed after some of this year’s contestants were reportedly leaked online.

The launch show, which was pre-recorded on Saturday night, will hit screens on Sunday and viewers will be able to see this year’s contestants for the first time.

However, despite the launch not being broadcast live, a selected studio audience were still invited to watch the events unfold.

Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best were also there to front the show and to welcome the contestants entering the house.

Express.co.uk has chosen not to name any of the contestants, but fans have taken to social media to complain about it.

They even claimed a TokTok star and a Miss Universe winner were among this year’s housemates.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, @DavidMackayy complained: “Itv2: So many people from different walks of life, no influencers. Also Itv2: Add a beauty queen and someone from TikTok, perfect.” (sic)

@BigBrotherXtra echoed: “ITV also lied about TikTok influencers.” (sic)

@LoveRealityTV4 asked: “I need to know the identity of this TikToker who is entering ASAP please.” (sic)

@lewisjsloman fumed: “Ughhh no spoilers but I had a suspicion on one person entering the house and it turned out to be correct. I thought we said no to no TikTok influencers.” (sic)

@mariahscracker stated: “Big Brother: we are having no influencers or celebs! *a miss universe and a TikTok influencer enters the public series*.” (sic)

Other fans were thrilled by the line-up with @BB_Superfan tweeting: “The Big Brother launch was the longest TV recording I’ve ever been to in my life. I’m exhausted! So exciting seeing people mingle in the BB House again though! The cast is promising. Diversity has been delivered.”

ITV has also shared first-look pictures of inside the Big Brother house and the iconic Diary Room Chair.

The eye-catching chair will return on Sunday with a captivating and vibrant new look for the reboot of the original reality show using bright colours including red, yellow, and blue.

The signature-styled Diary Room accessory also includes a wide curved cushioned seat and is decorated with fluorescent lights.

The communal area is believed to be bigger than in any previous series of the show, with two huge sofas in the shape of the Big Brother eye.

Meanwhile, there’s an outdoor bath, which would have been built out of glass and sourced from China had it not been for last-minute concerns about sustainable production.

Big Brother begins on Sunday at 9pm on ITV.
