More and more allegations of sexual misconduct are being made against comedian Russell Brand, who issued a denial of the initial allegations and stated: ""These allegations pertain to the time when I was working in the mainstream, when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies.
"And as I've written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous. Now, during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely always consensual".

After Channel 4, working with The Times, published an explosive documentary detailing five women's experiences with the former host, more women have come forward with separate allegations.
Another claim has now been made that Brand had joked about paedophile and child killer Ian Huntley during a threesome.
He also was believed to verbally abuse one of the women about how she looked when she refused to have sex with him again later.
Speaking to The Times, 'Lisa' which is not her real name, met the disgraced Big Brother's Big Mouth host in 2008.
In her early twenties at the time, she claimed that Russell had invited her and her friend to his house and went on to have sex with him.
'Lisa' said that her and her friend's names sounded somewhat similar to Jessica and Holly, the names of two girls who were lured and murdered by Ian Huntley in 2002.
During intercourse, she alleged that Russell brought the similarity up whilst in the midst of the threesome.
'Lisa' explained: "He started talking about Ian Huntley, the paedophile and child killer, and mentioned it quite a few times, like in a joking way, but also made up a whole song about it.
"I just couldn't understand why you would be able to have sex and talk about a child killer at the same time.โ
When approached with the reports, Russell strongly denied the allegations put against him, but did not respond to what 'Lisa' had said.
In a separate run-in with the Forgetting Sarah Marshall actor, 'Lisa' said that Russell invited her to his house for professional purposes so he could give a quote for her to use in a book she was writing.
She stated that when she arrived at his property, Russell had already invited another girl to the house and it was expected that she would join in to have a threesome.
โIt was quickly quite clear that I was there to have a threesome with him and this woman that I'd never met. And I was just like, no,โ she explained.
But despite her saying she was not comfortable with the arrangement, Brand was not happy that he was rejected, looking "quite annoyed".
Russell continues to deny all the allegations of rape, sexual abuse and physical assault made against him that were broadcast on the Channel 4 documentary.
An investigation has been opened by Metropolitan Police after a victim came forward regarding an incident that took place in 2003.
On Tuesday morning (September 19), his Youtube channel was deleted and demonetised as a result of the various sexual assault allegations made against him.
