Phillip Schofield estranged wife Steph "still loves him" and is planning a family gathering at Christmas with the former This Morning star.
According to a source, the no longer married pair will be coming together along with daughters Molly, 30, and Ruby, 27 – to enjoy the festive season, in spite of Phillip's "ill advised" affair with a younger peer.
While Steph and Phillip are no longer an item and have lived separately for some time now, it seems they are both willing to move on from the news that came to light earlier this year for the sake of their family. Speaking to New magazine and insider revealed: "Even if the love they shared in the beginning of their marriage is different to what it is now, the love is still very much there."

They added: "She's stuck by him through everything, while others deserted him.Steph is, and always will be, Phillip's support system [and] she hasn't divorced him because she doesn't want to see him fall any further."
"It's telling that they will spend Christmas together again as a family. He is the father of her daughters, after all, and the girls love him dearly." Daily Star has contacted representatives for Phillip for comment.
Earlier this year, the 61-year-old stepped down from his long-standing presenter role with This Morning after he had admitted to an "ill-advised but not illegal" affair with a younger male at his ITV place of work.
Following his resignation, the TV star hailed his two daughters Molly and Ruby for being his "rock" and being at his side – in spite of the shock news – that left Phillip feeling "utterly broken". Speaking to The Sun back in June, he said: "If it hadn't been for my girls last week I wouldn't be here… I feel embarrassed and ashamed."
At the time of Phillip's affair confession, he was dropped by his talent management company, YMU, which happens to be the same company his daughter Molly is employed by. But that hasn't stopped her from throwing all of her support behind her dad.
Steph has also been an advocate for her husband throughout and stepped in to offer up support after Phillip came out live on air that he was gay, in a heartfelt interview with his then co-star Holly Willoughby.

The former married couple seemed to be moving forward in spite of his sexuality and were even spotted together at celebrity Juice star Leigh Francis's 50th birthday party with one another.
After Phillip later told The Sun that Step has been "very angry" to later learn that an affair had taken place while they were still married but praised his daughters for being "unbelievable". "She is very, very angry but we spoke today, and my daughters were unbelievable," said Phillip to the publication.
