According to reports, Ye has now filed multiple trademark applications for the use of “YEWS.” Uncovered by trademark attorney Josh Gerben, the controversial artist made 26 filings through his company Ox Paha Inc. earlier this month.
While the filings do not necessarily mean the name “YEWS” will be used, if approved the trademark will be available across education, advertising, banking services, music streaming, TV, beauty care, food and drink, games, clothing, footwear, cookware, alcoholic beverages, and much more.
It is important to note that the “YEWS” filing comes after a series of anti-Semitic remarks made by Ye publicly in 2022.
