For fans of Berserk, online animation group Studio Eclypse has now shared a teaser for its fan animation BERSERK: The Black Swordsman. Announced back in early October, the animation will focus on The Black Swordsman arc, along with an “adaptation of the stories that have been neglected of this medium.”
The fan animation serves to address the dislike fans had for the 2016-2017 Berserk anime that utilized 3D CGI and left much to be desired in terms of art style and writing.
Scored by “Omens” by Zach Jackson of Depths of Aetherium, the teaser offers a taste of what BERSERK: The Black Swordsman is set to deliver. Studio Eclypse has shared that the project will feature both English and Japanese voice acting, with scenes shared in their full graphic nature.
Currently, Studio Eclypse’s Patreon basic membership offers early access to key animation, promo materials, and concept art for BERSERK: The Black Swordsman. It is unclear when the fan animation will be officially released.
In case you missed it, Blizzard’s potential new StarCraft title could not be a real-time strategy game.
