The second collaboration between NEIGHBORHOOD and Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme is officially releasing later this week. Earlier this summer, Hypebeast Japan had an exclusive look at the pieces.
The duo rejoined to release a range of clothing that sees an intricate bomber jacket taken inspiration from the MA-1 flight jacket. Continuing to incorporate the “antithesis” and “rebellious spirit” of Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme as well as combining it with NEIGHBORHOOD’s motif that underlie the backbone of this collection, the jacket leads the collection in a split finish of navy, olive and black nylon paneling. Graphics are seen on the right sleeve and back while the left sleeve shows off a knit detail. The back graphic is an oversized Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme neck tag that appears as a staple design throughout the pieces including on the long-sleeves, jeans and more. In other outerwear, the collectiokn features a black trench coat and the tag design embroidered on the back in white.
In addition to the two jackets, processed denim wear in black and blue fuse the two labels together while tees, crewnecks and hoodies are also available. Rounding it all out are accessories like the collaborative incense chamber in both black and white and all-black features a robed skeleton with graphics at its front. The NEIGHBORHOOD x Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme SS24 collection is available starting on December 8 in store and online.
