UPDATE: Detailed images of the Air Jordan 11 “DMP” have surfaced and they’ve revealed that the pair will steer away from its original design and be structured with tumbled leather uppers instead of mesh. Standard gilded accents will arrive on the Jumpman logos and throat banners while the mudguards will retain their stealthy patent leather appearance. Jordan Brand hasn’t confirmed an official launch date yet, but these are currently slated to drop on December 9, 2023 for $225 USD.1 of 5

ORIGINAL ARTICLE:
Although 2023 just began, Jordan Brand is already preparing for the holiday season with its annual end-of-year drop. The Air Jordan 13 “Wheat” is anticipated to make the list, now joined by the infamous Air Jordan 11 “DMP” that was last released in 2006.
As reported by Sneaker Files, the “Defining Moments Pack” is currently in the works for a re-issue and is expected to be a smash hit amongst sneakerheads everywhere. The pack’s accompanying Air Jordan 6 made its own return in 2020, so fans have been eager to get their hands on the Air Jordan 11 to complete the bundle’s modern version.
The design is expected to stay true to the original, featuring glossy patent leather perimeters with wavy trimmings. White mesh accents the upper half adorned with linear lace eyelets that connect to leather heel counters matched with “Metallic Gold” Jumpman logos and Michael Jordan’s emblematic 23 jersey number.
Semi-translucent bottoms complete the pair on an original note, promoting MJ’s on-court legacy. The two-pair “DMP” pack released in 2006 came packaged in special-edition boxing and custom hangtags, while it is unknown if this singular Air Jordan 11 release will arrive in the same format.
The news has yet to be confirmed by Nike or Jordan Brand, but stay tuned for more information coming soon. Head over to GOAT now to cop an early pair.
