Canada Goose is prepping for a collaboration filled Fall/Winter 2023. Just last week, the Toronto-based outerwear brand teased a series of upcoming partnerships. Arriving first is the ROKH x Matt McCormick collection before the Concepts, BAPE and OVO ones.
Gearing up for the cooler months, the ROKH x Matt McCormick collection focuses on high fashion and high function. The eight-piece collaboration features a selection of outerwear, knitwear and accessories all highlighting specific shapes from ROKH’s “Office Essentials” collection. The collection takes on ROKH’s elegant and timeless silhouettes, structured by its signature clean lines paird with McCormick’s iconic chromatic landscapes and depiction of the American wild west. ROKH, which is founded by designer Rok Hwang who was born in Seoul and raised in Texas, brings a conceptual and effortless attitude to the wardrobe staples. Meanwhile, McCormick is a multidisciplinary artist that is often known for his artistic interpretation of nostalgic freedom of the Western Americana. Combining both of their artistry and craftsmanship, the collection items become both statement and functional pieces.
The collection features a lightweight down strap trench coat that takes on ROKH’s signature oversized trench coat, featuring Canada Goose’s winter outerwear expertise to ensure the weare tays warm in below zero degrees Celsius weather. The brand’s signature interior backpack straps allow the jacket to be carried hands-free and incorporates the iconic charcoal inspired rodeo print from McCormick within its lining. Other modern signature charcoal drawings are seen on the cropped down strap puffer for those looking for a versatile piece that take you from the city to the weekend hike and more. McCormick’s rodeo prints are seen on the padded trucker strap jacket while other pieces in the capsule include the wool knit sweater, balaclava, scarf and wide brim venture hat. The Canada Goose x ROKH x Matt McCormick collection is for the everyday explorer and it is now available across Canada Goose retailers and online.
