EXCLUSIVE: Married At First Sight UK bride Porscha Pernnelle secret life working in a strip club revealed before she became devout Christian
Married At First Sight UK bride Porsha Pernnelle worked in London strip club Stringfellows before she overhauled her lifestyle and became a devout Christian.
The revelation will surprise viewers of the E4 show after she was seen lambasting groom Terence Edwards, 41, for his career as a DJ and being a ‘party boy.’
Porscha, 36, confessed to ‘drinking a lot’ after university before ‘God spoke to her’ and she changed her lifestyle for the better, staying at home and connecting with her family on a deeper level.
However, she kept her past work as a glamorous waitress at Stringfellow’s Angels Soho, where staff wore white lingerie, secret from new husband Terence, who she married after meeting him for the first time at the altar on Monday night’s show.
It comes after Ella Morgan, who is the first transgender bride to appear on the UK series, admitted to being a stripper off camera to husband Nathanial Valentino, which caused huge ruptures in their marriage.

A source revealed: ‘Porscha worked at Stringfellows for a few years and was totally different to what she’s like now.
‘She loved a drink and was really brash, at some points rather wild.
‘Punters really liked her as she had so much personality, she was great fun.
‘It’s strange seeing her say she now likes to go to bed at 11pm because that was early for her back in the day.’
MailOnline understands that Porscha worked at Stringfellows around 2014-2016, before she became a mum to her three-year-old son, who she says has ‘changed her for the better.’
Speaking on the show, Porscha said: ‘My relationship with Jesus and God is so important to me because I know who I am without him, and I never want to be that person again… that person was not happy.
‘Just after uni, I was drinking a lot and there was a point where God spoke to me and I decided to stop going clubbing, no more Chinawhite for me, I stopped drinking, and I loved being at home. It was a happiness to connect with other people that I didn’t have before.’
Porscha told MailOnline: ‘I was never a stripper in this establishment.’

Porscha and Terence married on the E4 series earlier this week but have already argued on their honeymoon over their lifestyle differences
Porscha told DJ Terence that she likes to stay at home and doesn’t party without sharing on camera her previous work at a gentleman’s club
After discovering that Terence DJs for a living, Porscha told her new husband, ‘I don’t go clubbing or anything… I don’t go out. I’m a homebody, I like staying at home. I can’t imagine staying out past 11.’
Viewers were shocked by some of Porscha’s expectations in a relationship, with the reality star saying, ‘I don’t like men that instigate the idea of going 50/50 in anything… if a man I was dating asked me to split the bill a dinner… I would pay the whole bill and leave and block him on my way to get an Uber.’
She also told the relationship experts she was looking for someone ‘tall’ and ‘athletic’ with a ‘good jaw line’, ‘good teeth,’ who is ‘proud in their career’ and ‘loves Jesus.’
MailOnline revealed on Tuesday that Porscha’s husband Terence had several personal items including two watches damaged during filming of the series.
He accused wife Porscha of cutting up his clothing and smashing his watches because she was the only person who had access to their shared apartment, but the mother-of-one has denied the claims.
Channel 4 confirmed: ‘Some clothing was damaged on location but the contributor had the items replaced or was reimbursed by production.’
