The TV legend, 74, is famous for making fans laugh as cheeky Peggy in 80s sitcom Hi-De-Hi! \u2013 but she says these days she goes all out to be as mean as possible. She told the Daily Star: \u201cI relish it. If they don\u2019t boo, I scream and call them useless. I wind them all up.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s fun being mean to them. If no child is carried out crying then I\u2019ve done a terrible job. \u201cI don\u2019t wish to be modest. When they scream and cry, you can hear it streets away.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve never been a mother. I don\u2019t know how mothers manage. I\u2019m just glad I\u2019m not one.\u201d Su is playing the Wicked Queen in Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs at the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre this Christmas. <\/p>\n
She said: \u201cI love playing a villain. If you\u2019re any sort of actress, you throw yourself into the role. I look at the script and go, \u2018That\u2019s not evil enough.\u2019 I think of the worst people I\u2019ve met.\u201c You can really have fun with it. Aren\u2019t I awful?\u201d <\/p>\n

Su recently told how the spirit of Ruth Madoc played a prank on her as she paid an emotional tribute to the star in front of a packed audience. Su was starring as a fairy in panto when the death of her Hi-de-Hi co-star was announced. <\/p>\n
But as she took to the stage to address the audience, Su said her crown was knocked from her head by Ruth\u2019s playful spirit. The star, who was appearing in BBC Two series Pilgrimage at the time, also told how she had to correct then Prince Charles when he mistakenly called the hit sitcom Ho-de-Ho.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the Sunday Express, she recalled her mysterious encounter while performing in Jack and The Beanstalk. Ruth died on December 9, aged 79. Su recalled: \u201cThe producer said to me, \u2018I\u2019d love you to dedicate these next two shows to Ruth\u2019. \u201cI made a little speech at the end. <\/p>\n
"As I said, \u2018Thank you so much, she would\u2019ve been delighted with the lovely tributes\u2019, my crown just went forward on my head. I said, \u2018Ruth is watching us. She\u2019s not quite ready to settle into heaven yet\u2019. The audience applauded \u2013 it was fabulous.\u201d<\/p>\n
