{"id":68793,"date":"2023-12-08T16:52:09","date_gmt":"2023-12-08T16:52:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/talkcelnews.com\/?p=68793"},"modified":"2023-12-08T16:52:09","modified_gmt":"2023-12-08T16:52:09","slug":"hideo-kojima-teases-forthcoming-xbox-horror-title-od","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/talkcelnews.com\/entertainment\/hideo-kojima-teases-forthcoming-xbox-horror-title-od\/","title":{"rendered":"Hideo Kojima Teases Forthcoming Xbox Horror Title &#039;OD&#039;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hideo Kojima has long reigned over the action-adventure genre with titles such as <em>Metal Gear, Zone of the Enders<\/em> and <em>Snatcher.<\/em> For its next effort, however, the game creator has created a horror game that promises to truly frighten players.<\/p>\n<p>The game is called<em> OD<\/em> \u2013 a switch from its original title of <em>Overdose<\/em> \u2013 and was previewed at the Game Awards 2023. Kojima Productions is developing <em>OD<\/em> in partnership with Xbox Studios.<\/p>\n<p>The 90-second trailer features actors Hunter Schafer, Sophia Lillis and Udo Kier in a pitch-dark room reading nursery rhymes while growing increasingly panicked. There\u2019s the sound of a door opening and Lillis screams before the video cuts.<\/p>\n<p>While that may not give much in the way of plot, it\u2019s an intriguing first look at the expected fear factor Kojima is aiming to deliver with OD.
