MEMBERS of the Anderson clan and viewers were shocked when Victor passed away earlier this year. <\/p>\n

However, one Emmerdale resident may help bring a fresh start to the family as love begins to bloom next week. <\/p>\n

Christmas is fast approaching in the eponymous ITV village and residents are all preparing to celebrate with their respective families and loved ones. <\/p>\n

However, conflict is shaking the Anderson household as village vicar Charles (played by Kevin Mathurin) argues back and forth with his old-school mother Claudette (Flo Wilson) about how they should welcome Christmas in the Dales. <\/p>\n

Claudette has opposing views with councillor Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) and the pair continually bicker about the upcoming Christmas fair. <\/p>\n

But next week, Charles finally manages to convince Nicola and his mother to co-organise the event together. <\/p>\n

Unfortunately,\u00a0Clipboard-wielding Claudette is no match for fired-up Nicola.<\/p>\n

How will they pull it off AND get along at the same time? <\/p>\n

Will they ever find something to agree on? <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) has clocked Bear Wolf\u2019s (Joshua Richards) burgeoning attraction to Claudette.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The character was hopeful to mend his broken relationship with his family, despite his own son Charles standing firmly against him approaching any of his loved ones. <\/p>\n

Soon, Victor was welcomed into the village by Naomi Walters, his long-lost granddaughter and Charles was left seething, unable to forgive his father for his past transgressions and crimes. <\/p>\n

Charles was convinced Victor would go back to his old schemes and cause trouble for the family. <\/p>\n
