In Sweet Nothing, Taylor sings: ‘On the way home \/ I wrote a poem \/ You say, \u2018What a mind’ \/ This happens all the time.’<\/p>\n
The song is likely inspired by the McCartney quote but it still has heavy ties to Alwyn.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The song is the only track on Midnights that was co-written by the Conversations with Friends star and the first verse talks about a pebble picked up on the beach in Wicklow.<\/p>\n
That is where the Stars at Noon actor filmed the Hulu series.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Swift’s collaborator Jack Antonoff revealed that the song was written in December 2021 which through Swifties into a tizzy by realizing that her six year relationship with the actor had been on the rocks for awhile before their split in April 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This week, Gossip blog DeuxMoi claimed that Swift had married Alwyn in ‘either 2020 or 2021’ but it was never made legal.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The rumor seems to have been based on the old rumor that Swift and Alwyn were secretly engaged and she only wore the ring in private.\u00a0<\/p>\n
But her rep denied it.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘Enough is enough with these fabricated lies about Taylor from Deuxmoi,’ Swift’s publicist Tree Paine wrote, while sharing a screenshot of the post.<\/p>\n

Deuxmoi \u2014 a popular Instagram page that re-posts blind items about celebrities from anonymous sources \u2014 made the bombshell claims Thursday in response to a submitted post relating to Swift.<\/p>\n
The anonymous submission called out Swifties for running with theories about the pair’s relationship following the streaming release of Swift’s Midnights bonus track You’re Losing Me \u2014 which many believe is about Alwyn.<\/p>\n
