A woman who had her boyfriend’s name tattooed on her forehead has admitted the daring choice is not real – and claims she was trying to teach people a lesson with her prank.

Polish-born Ana Stanskovsky, who currently lives in Bali, shocked her 587,000 TikTok followers last week when she revealed her bold new inking dedicated to her fellow influencer boyfriend, Kevin Freshwater.

However, all was not as it seemed and as some viewers suspected, the unfortunate inking turned out to be fake.

Ana’s new video explaining the truth has already been seen by more than 20 million people in less than 24 hours.

As she explained the inking was fake, she said she had pulled the wool over her followers’ eyes to ‘teach people about the regret of having tattoos’.

A woman who got her boyfriends name tattooed on her forehead has admitted that it’s not real and she faked the bold choice to ‘teach people about the regret of having tattoos’

In the clip, while still brandishing the ‘Kevin’ tatt in bold cursive letters across her forehead, she told viewers ‘I regret my tattoo’.

The influencer said: ‘The video of me getting my boyfriend’s name tattooed on my forehead went viral.

‘All of the big social media platforms, newspapers, radio stations were talking about it. All I want to say is that I regret my tattoo… but not this one.’

She then took a wipe to her forehead and rubbed away the ‘tattoo,’ revealing that it was done with what looks like marker pen.

She continued: ‘Because this is actually not a real tattoo and the reason why I tricked the whole internet is that I have a message to young people and all of the people who want to get covered in tattoos.

‘I want everyone to know that I regret my tattoos and you might regret yours when you get older.

‘As a person who is fully covered in tattoos, I feel like this is my responsibility to speak up, share my experience.’

Although she revealed the forehead tattoo was not real, the 26-year-old admitted she regrets all of her other tattoos, which are spread across her shoulders, neck, arms, hands, stomach and legs.

Ana added: ‘When people see me on social media the first thing they notice about me is my tattoos, so if I influence people I want to influence people in the right way.

The TikToker’s boyfriend, who the fake tattoo was dedicated to, is believed to be fellow influencer Kevin Freshwater – who has over 400,000 followers on Instagram

‘I remember when ten years ago, I was getting my first tattoos and my mum, my friends, were telling me all the time, ‘Ana you will regret your tattoos’ and I didn’t listen. Maybe because they didn’t have any tattoos.

‘But if there was a person covered in tattoos, saying they regret their tattoos, I would have listened.’

She concluded by asking viewers to like and share the TikTok to ‘spread tattoo awareness that no one really talks about’.

Commenters are divided over the message the Polish influencer is trying to convey.

One user who agreed with Ana wrote: ‘On my 59th tattoo. I regret them all. I get one more tat every time I regret my tattoo.’

Others added: ‘sitting here with a half sleeve that I regret’ and ‘yes, we need voices like you to tell youngsters.’

Someone else chimed in with: ‘I regret all my tattoos. I only have three but I got them at 17. I’m 31 now. What was I thinking?’

However, some viewers hit back at the TikToker, with one writing: ‘Do your tattoos have meaning? Because mine do. No regrets here’.

She said ”I remember when ten years ago, I was getting my first tattoos and my mom, my friends, were telling me all the time, ‘Ana you will regret your tattoos’ and I didn’t listen. maybe because they didn’t have any tattoos’

Another added: ‘Not all people will regret their tattoos, each to their own.’

Ana replied: ‘That’s why I’m speaking about myself. And five years ago I was saying I will never regret my tattoos. You don’t know what your future self will think.’

Someone else complimented the influencer, writing: ‘Please own them. You look great. I get regretting a tattoo, but that was you in that time… There’s nothing wrong with them. Enjoy who you were.’

Another viewer said: ‘I will never regret my tattoos maybe there will come a time, where I don’t like them as much as I used to but they’re a part of me, my story’.

The original viral video that drew attention to Ana was captioned: ‘My new face tattoo’ and showed the influencer in a body modification shop, apparently getting her boyfriend Kevin’s name permanently on her head – which we now know was not real.

It zoomed in on the artist going over the stencil and Ana squirming in pain before she rushed over to the mirror and exclaimed: ‘Done? Okay let’s see. Oh my God, I love it. Wow, Kevin’s gonna love it’.

Shortly after the clip garnered attention, Ana decided to respond to the hate, making another video in response to the comment: ‘Wow you will regret this one day.’

She said: ‘I’m in love with the tattoo and I’m in love with my boyfriend,’ she said. ‘I think if you really love someone, you’ve just got to show it you know, you’ve just got to prove it.’

In another clip, captioned: ‘Let’s prove it’s real,’ she wrote on the screen: ‘I’ll try to wipe if off. Let’s see what will happen’.

She told viewers: ‘I’m sick and tired of hearing from everyone that my tattoo is fake. Why would I do that?

‘I don’t understand, I’ve got so many tattoos, what’s the point? I did it, it’s not a big deal for me. But for everyone else it is.’
