Barbra Streisand talks about first meeting with her husband James Brolin<\/h3>\n

Superstar Babra Streisand has revealed the inauspicious beginnings of her relationship with her husband of 25 years, actor James Brolin.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Ross King on Lorraine, she explained that a friend had set them up but reality and expectation somewhat clashed.<\/p>\n

\u201cI walk in and I think I\u2019m gonna meet this guy who looks like he was in Hotel – his television series,\u201d she explained in her familiar New York drawl.<\/p>\n

\u201cWonderful black thick wavy hair,\u201d she swooned. \u201cI look across the room and someone\u2019s waving to me but I\u2019m thinking, \u2018Who the hell is that?’<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing much more outspoken now and not afraid to be outspoken I put my hands on his hair and I say: \u2019Who f****d up your hair?\u2019<\/p>\n

Thankfully she intimated that he didn\u2019t find her brusqueness off-putting. \u201cInstead of him being like put off he loved it!\u201d she exclaimed. \u201cHere was a man who loved my honesty.<\/p>\n

\u201cI said I have to go home now. My editors are waiting, and he said, \u2018Well I\u2019m gonna take you home.’ I said, \u2018Huh?\u2019 I wanted him to,\u201d she confessed.<\/p>\n

Barbra was speaking to support the launch of her autobiography My Name Is Barbra, which weighs in at over 900 pages, with a 48-hour audio version, as the star recounts her extraordinary life and career.<\/p>\n

While she also discusses her other high-profile romances with famous men such as Andre Agassi and Don Johnson, James hasn\u2019t yet read what she has to say about them.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe hasn\u2019t even read my book through,\u201d Barbra admitted. \u201cI would read him passages so he was encouraging, but he hasn\u2019t read it because it\u2019s so big.\u201d<\/p>\n
