ALDI is bringing back a sell-out winter gadget to avoid putting the heating on – and it's not a heated airer.

The discount chain has revealed to The Sun the exact date that its heated throw will be returning to stores.

The energy-saving gadget causes a frenzy each time it returns to shops.

Now we can confirm that the heated throw will be back on Aldi shelves from November 23.

It will cost £39.99, the same price as last year.

Shoppers have already been itching to know when the throw will return to shelves.

Posting on Facebook one said: "Heated throws? Does anyone know if these are in stock yet at shops or am I a bit early for them?

"Already have one from Aldi want another."

Fellow bargain hunters flooded the comments also asking when the gadgets will be back.

One wrote: "I am waiting too for these."

Another said: "Would love to know also when they are coming in and how much please."

A third commented: "I'd love to know when they're coming in stock as well."

Others who have bought them previously have left their own reviews.

One happy customer said: "I have one. Keeps heating off until December."

Another commented: "My blanket that I bought last year was so warm that I didn’t need to plug it in much."

And one woman wrote: "I bought two last year would recommend them."

The blankets come in two colours, dark grey and light grey.

They're approximately 120cm by 160cm, and come with a 3.6 metre cable plus a detachable controller.

Each has overheat protection and three-hour, auto-off function, and six adjustable heat settings.

It means you can use lower settings when using as a throw blanket, and higher settings for preheating your bed before settling in for the night.

Shoppers on Facebook said that the gadget costs just 3p an hour to run.

The Sun has contacted Aldi to confirm this and will updated this story when we hear back.

Recent figures from CheckaTrade shows that the average cost of running your heating per hour is 7p per kilowatt-hour.

This means that if you have a 24 kW boiler, it might cost you £1.68 an hour.

It means that if you have your heating on overnight for eight hours, it could cost you £13.44.

You can buy the heated throw in store but they won't be available online.

You can find your nearest Aldi by using the store locator tool on the chain's website.

As always make sure you to have a shop around first before you commit to a purchase.

We had a quick look online and found Currys is selling single electric under blankets online and in-store for £19 right now.

Argos sells Slumberdown electric blankets with prices starting from £35.

Tesco is also selling a heated blanket for £20.

But remember to always have a quick shop around first as you might be able to find a similar product cheaper elsewhere.

Prices vary by brand, size and retailer so it's worth having a browse elsewhere before you make a decision.

Use price comparison tools like Google Shopping to find similar products from other retailers and compare prices.

Meanwhile, Aldi's sell-out heated airer is also back on shelves and costs just 6p to run.

Plus, a shop you'd never think of is selling a winter energy saving appliance to help you keep warm without putting the heating on.

Do you have a money problem that needs sorting?
