<\/p>\nMARRIED at First Sight UK is raking in the ratings – unlike Big Brother.<\/p>\n
The show's viewership has roared ahead in the ratings this series – with the show even achieving its highest figures yet.<\/p>\n

Despite, E4's beloved series, Big Brother, being revived after five years, MAFS has even beat\u00a0the iconic reality programme's early ratings figures for last night's viewing.<\/p>\n
In its first two weeks, Married at First Sight UK averaged 2M individuals an episode and a jaw-dropping 1.2 billion minutes viewed across all platforms – a 20% increase from the last series.<\/p>\n
But it's no surprise that the show is a hit, with it's constant drama including marriage scandals and bullying rows.<\/p>\n
It seems that the clashes and relationship struggles are favoured by 16-34-year-olds as E4 was the #1 channel with 16-34-year-olds during MAFS UK\u2019s launch in the 9pm slot.<\/p>\n
The first two weeks of MAFS UK were even up by an eye-watering 49% increase in streaming views.<\/p>\n Karl Warner, Head of Youth and Digital at Channel 4 said: \u201cNot only is this year\u2019s MAFS UK the biggest ever series with more episodes and more couples, but we\u2019ve had our biggest EVER MAFS UK launch on E4. <\/p>\n "The first two weeks have seen millions tuning in for each episode and an amazing young share that helped crown E4 as the number 1 channel for youngs in the 9pm slot. <\/p>\n "There\u2019s plenty more drama to come, so stay tuned!\u201d<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n One drama in particular has had viewers coming back for more – Brad and Shona's rollercoaster relationship.<\/p>\n Viewers of\u00a0MAFS UK\u00a0watched last night as the couple were told by experts\u00a0Paul Brunson\u00a0and\u00a0Mel Schilling\u00a0that\u00a0they would be going home.<\/p>\n Whilst a verbal altercation at one of the dinner parties being blamed for their exit – some fans had other ideas.<\/p>\n \u00a0Some have speculated that things may have escalated between them off camera.<\/p>\n One wrote: "Wait hold on this is the first time the experts have told a couple to leave. Brad & Shona must be even more toxic that we ain't seeing."<\/p>\n The Sun on Sunday previously revealed\u00a0Brad was kicked off\u00a0after displaying \u201ccontrolling and coercive\u201d behaviour.<\/p>\n Distressing scenes\u00a0caused domestic abuse charity Women\u2019s Aid to speak out about Brad's behaviour.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, viewers have flocked to call out apparent 'bullying' on the show.<\/p>\n Fans have slammed Tasha\u00a0for her behaviour towards newbie\u00a0Erica\u00a0on the\u00a0drama-heavy show.<\/p>\n Shady antics from Tasha escalated into a heated confrontation when\u00a0Erica\u00a0called her out and asked the show OG what her problem was.<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/newspress-collage-24393489-1697200543278.jpg\")
