WARNING: This article contains spoilers from The Bold and the Beautiful. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n The Bold and the Beautiful\u2019s Quinn Fuller made her departure from the long-running drama last year so what was the reason behind actress Rena Sofer\u2019s exit?<\/p>\n Quinn (played by Rena Sofer) had been in the CBS soap opera for nine years, first joining the cast way back in 2013 with her final episode airing in August 2022.<\/p>\n She had many epic storylines, from kidnapping, attempted murder and generally causing trouble for everyone in her life.<\/p>\n Quinn was meant to have a happy ending as she and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) were finally able to sort things out and went away to live their happily ever after.<\/p>\n However, just a couple of months later, Carter revealed that she had left him unexpectedly and moved away, leaving him and fans with many questions left unanswered.<\/p>\n Read more: NCIS LA star Daniela Ruah achieves ‘huge goal’ along with co-star Caleb Castille<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Opening up in an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Sofer explained her contract expired in May 2022 and claimed she didn\u2019t hear from anyone about her future until just before her last week of shooting.<\/p>\n She alleged the writers didn\u2019t know what to do with her character but asked her to stay on a \u201crecurring basis\u201d so they could work it out.<\/p>\n However, Sofer was far from happy with this and decided it was time for her to make her exit as Quinn.<\/p>\n \u201cI just felt like if my decision wasn\u2019t set at that point, that kind of made it clear, that they just didn\u2019t know what to do with Quinn, and I felt like I deserved more than just sitting around until they figured it out.<\/p>\n Don’t miss… <\/strong> <\/p>\n \u201cEspecially at the end of the whole \u2018Quarter\u2019 story; there was still so much to do, you know.<\/p>\n \u201cI still wasn\u2019t divorced from Eric [John McCook], and Donna [Jennifer Gareis] was still in the mix of that, and so I just felt like it was time to go.<\/p>\n \u201cI told them I was leaving, and [showrunner] Brad [Bell] called me and he really wanted me to stay and I really appreciated that he wanted me to stay.\u201d<\/p>\n She took to Instagram to announce the news, talking about taking the next step as an actress as well as in her other line of work.<\/p>\n We use your sign-up to provide content in ways you’ve consented to and to improve our understanding of you.
