Tory MP Lee Anderson has been accused of \u2018bullying\u2019 after an appalling comment he posted about Carol Vorderman.<\/p>\n
The GB News presenter is facing intense backlash after he appeared to ridicule the Countdown star on X, formerly known as Twitter.<\/p>\n
This comes after GB News has faced its own misogyny crisis when Laurence Fox made a series of remarks\u00a0about\u00a0female reporter Ava Evans,\u00a0known as Ava Santina on X, formerly Twitter, including asking: \u2018Who would want to shag that?\u2019<\/p>\n
Fox has since been suspended, as has Dan Wootton, whose show the vile comments were made on, and a third presenter, Calvin Robinson, for supporting Wootton.<\/p>\n
But Anderson doesn\u2019t seem phased by the chaos at the broadcaster, as he\u2019s made his own controversial comments now.<\/p>\n
Vorderman, 62, criticised Anderson\u2019s interview with Suella Braverman on GB News, writing on X: \u2018Tory Lee Anderson (paid \u00a3100k by GB News) \u201cinterviewed\u201d Tory Braverman, failing to challenge her on a single point. He says she was \u201cnailing it\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u2018GB News did their best to dress up the rest of the programme as debate which may be enough for @ofcom not to consider a breach. Who knows?<\/p>\n

Replying to Vorderman, Anderson wrote: \u2018The sooner we ban single plastics the better.\u2019<\/p>\n
It appears he was referring to Vorderman\u2019s marital status and her appearance, and his comment has been blasted.<\/p>\n
