{"id":67205,"date":"2023-09-29T11:59:48","date_gmt":"2023-09-29T11:59:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/talkcelnews.com\/?p=67205"},"modified":"2023-09-29T11:59:48","modified_gmt":"2023-09-29T11:59:48","slug":"kate-middleton-will-not-attend-earthshot-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/talkcelnews.com\/lifestyle\/kate-middleton-will-not-attend-earthshot-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"Kate Middleton &apos;will not attend Earthshot Awards&apos;"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Kate Middleton &#8216;will NOT attend Prince William&#8217;s Earthshot Awards ceremony&#8217; in Singapore in November in &#8216;huge blow to organisers&#8217;, sources claim<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>READ MORE:\u00a0Beaming Kate shows off her playful side as she tickles tummies and chats about Prince Louis during visit to centre for children with special needs\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Princess of Wales will not attend\u00a0Prince William&#8217;s Earthshot Awards, in what has been dubbed a &#8216;huge blow&#8217; to organisers.<\/p>\n<p>Kate, 41, will reportedly not travel to Singapore with her husband in\u00a0November and instead stay at home with Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s believed the royal doesn&#8217;t want to disturb the children&#8217;s education during term time and is instead working to have a &#8216;stable home life in preparation for their royal careers&#8217;, according to the Mirror.<\/p>\n<p>The mother-of-three attended the previous two Earthshot Awards in\u00a0Boston and London.<\/p>\n<p>MailOnline has contacted Kensington Palace for comment.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/29\/10\/75970409-12574697-image-a-1_1695979864095.jpg\" height=\"979\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The Princess of Wales will not attend Prince William &#8216;s Earthshot Awards, in what has been dubbed a &#8216;huge blow&#8217; to organisers. Pictured, the couple at last year&#8217;s event<\/p>\n<p>Prince William founded the awards in 2020, saying he wanted to turn &#8216;current pessimism surrounding environmental issues into optimism by celebrating the people and places driving change\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Every year between 2021 and 2030, an awards ceremony will honour winners in the prize&#8217;s five categories who are creating innovations which tackle environmental issues. Each winner is given\u00a0\u00a31million to support and scale their work.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Last year, Kate\u00a0presented an award, while donning a rented lime green Solace London dress from fashion platform HURR.<\/p>\n<p>The Sabrina frock, by Solace London, cost \u00a374 a night to rent.
