<\/p>\nA COUPLE on Don't Tell The Bride were left livid when they felt as though they had been stitched up by show bosses.<\/p>\n
Jenni and Andrew took part in the show in 2015 and ended up having a ceremony inside a circus tent.<\/p>\n

The fun-loving couple took the challenge<\/span> by the horns but years after they participated, bride Jenni expressed her disdain at how certain elements of the show were edited and produced. <\/p>\n One particular moment saw Jenni handed a huge bill on the show to cover the costs of her hen-do.<\/p>\n She admitted that it appeared as though her hubby-to-be was lumping the huge amount of money on her without offering to pay.<\/p>\n Jenni said: "Sometimes the producers deliberately make things difficult for the grooms! <\/p>\n "For example, Andrew was furious that I was handed the bill<\/span> at my hen do! <\/p>\n "He was told that the hens pay for themselves and wasn\u2019t allowed to put money toward it. <\/p>\n "Andrew\u00a0was so upset when he found out it had been made to look like he had planned for me to be landed with that bill!"<\/p>\n Sticking with the theme of money, whilst it is the grooms that have control over what is spent and where, Jenni admitted that they never physically get their hands on any cash.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n She said: "The grooms have to wait for clearance before they can buy anything at all, because at no point do they actually have contact with the money. <\/p>\n "When I got home after the wedding, I found so many notes with all his great ideas on. <\/p>\n "Festival wristbands as invitations, fireworks, welly boots<\/span> for all the guests, but he said you just can\u2019t fit it all in because of the constant wait for clearance."<\/p>\n Jenni and Andrew had two small children during filming for the show in 2015.<\/p>\n She also chatted to the Telegraph about how strict the filming process was.<\/p>\n The bride said: "Our little boy had to stay with Andrew during the week because we live close to his school. So Andrew juggle filming around school runs, bed times, and so on! <\/p>\n "Any handover between Andrew and my mum had to be done in front of the camera \u2013 just in case they were tempted to talk about the wedding. <\/p>\n "Even phone calls between mum and Andrew, or the bridesmaids had to be filmed from both sides! That is how strict it is!"<\/p>\n When contacted by The Sun about the claims, a Channel 4 spokesperson said:\u00a0\u201cDuty of care is of paramount importance and we take the welfare and wishes of our contributors extremely seriously. We would always discuss and review wedding plans alongside our grooms.\u201d<\/p>\n The Sun exclusively revealed yesterday how the once-popular reality programme had been ditched for good.<\/p>\n The show, which originally aired on\u00a0BBC\u00a0Three in 2007, followed couples in the build up to their nuptials.<\/p>\n Don't Tell the Bride moved to\u00a0BBC One\u00a0in 2015 before going to Sky One the following year.<\/p>\n Channel 4's sister network E4 had been airing the show since 2017.<\/p>\nMore on Don't Tell The Bride<\/h2>\n
