Kourtney Kardashian has found herself in some potential legal trouble, and for arguably one of the most random things we’ve ever heard the Kardashians doing (and it has everything to do with her wellness brand Poosh).

The Mayor of Malibu Bruce Silverstein recently called out the Keeping Up with the Kardashians for lying to obtain a permit, and now the event (that ended up being for Poosh) is under investigation.

Mayor Silverstein claimed that Kardashian’s event planner filed an application to host a larger gathering for Kardashian’s baby shower. They stated that around 94 guests would be in attendance, and they requested an “Emergency Expedited Permit for Large Event” for a single-family house to help with the issue of parking, per RadarOnline.

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – SEPTEMBER 21: CEO and founder of Poosh, Kourtney Kardashian speaks onstage the Create & Cultivate Conference at SVN West on September 21, 2019 in San Francisco, California. (Photo by Kelly Sullivan/Getty Images)

Now, this in of itself seems like a very Hollywood, A-lister thing to do, but the reality of the event is why Silverstein is upset.

According to TMZ, it turns out that the event was reportedly a promotional gathering for Kardashian’s brand Poosh. He said, per RadarOnline: “I understand that the event has been represented to be a baby shower that is being hosted by the owner of the property. Both of those representations are contrary to what the event planner told me – which was that the house is being ‘rented’ for an ‘influencer event.’ Obviously, one story or the other is false.”

And instead of around 94 guests, 600 showed up (and none of the Kardashians were in attendance?!)
