Russell Brand labelled his BBC Radio 2 show\u2019s newsreader a \u2018sex bomb\u2019 and made a series of sexual remarks about her live on air, it has emerged.<\/p>\n
In resurfaced recordings, the 48-year-old comedian was heard degrading Andrea Simmons and claiming he wanted to \u2018go under the desk\u2019 while she was reading the news.<\/p>\n
Branding her \u2018erotic\u2019 and a \u2018sex bomb\u2019, the former Big Brother presenter shared his fantasies surrounding the BBC employee with his listeners.<\/p>\n
He told them at the time: \u2018We are going to get under that desk and we\u2019re going to unleash hell on your thighs, woman.\u2019<\/p>\n
A BBC spokesperson told Metro.co.uk<\/strong>: \u2018The documentary and associated reports contained serious allegations, spanning a number of years. <\/p>\n \u2018Russell Brand worked on BBC radio programmes between 2006 and 2008 and we are urgently looking into the issues raised.\u2019<\/p>\n The star is currently being investigated by the BBC, Channel 4 and a production company after he was accused of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse while working for the organisations.<\/p>\n A joint investigation published over the weekend by The Times and The Sunday Times newspapers, alongside a TV documentary by Channel 4 Dispatches, revealed the allegations facing the Get Him to the Greek actor \u2013 who said on Friday night all of his relationships have been \u2018consensual\u2019.<\/p>\n The high-profile comedian and actor has denied the claims \u2013 including controlling, abusive and predatory behaviour \u2013 which have been made by four women relating to alleged incidents between 2006 and 2013 in the UK and US.<\/p>\n Allegations made against him include one woman who claims she was sexually assaulted during a three-month relationship with Brand when she was 16 and still at school.<\/p>\n The woman described his behaviour towards her as \u2018grooming\u2019 as he would allegedly provide her with scripts on how to deceive her parents into allowing her to visit him.<\/p>\n Following her accusations, the BBC is facing questions after it has been alleged that he used the corporation\u2019s car service to pick up the 16-year-old from school so she could visit his him at his home, according to The Times.<\/p>\n The woman claims she met Brand when he was 30 and a presenter on Radio 2.<\/p>\n He later left the station after he made headlines in 2008 when he and guest Jonathan Ross left a \u2018lewd\u2019 voicemail for Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs \u2013 who died in 2016 \u2013 about his granddaughter.<\/p>\n The broadcaster previously said it is \u2018urgently looking into the issues raised\u2019 while Brand worked on BBC radio programmes between 2006 and 2008.<\/p>\n Brand\u2019s former agency Tavistock Wood, commented on the allegations and said in a statement sent to Metro.co.uk: \u2018Russell Brand categorically and vehemently denied the allegation made in 2020, but we now believe we were horribly misled by him.<\/p>\n \u2018TW has terminated all professional ties to Brand.\u2019<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/themes\/metro-parent\/img\/fallback.png\")
