{"id":66761,"date":"2023-09-18T09:52:43","date_gmt":"2023-09-18T09:52:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/talkcelnews.com\/?p=66761"},"modified":"2023-09-18T09:52:43","modified_gmt":"2023-09-18T09:52:43","slug":"miriam-margolyes-regrets-matthew-perry-question","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/talkcelnews.com\/entertainment\/miriam-margolyes-regrets-matthew-perry-question\/","title":{"rendered":"Miriam Margolyes regrets Matthew Perry question"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/ad_193181423.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Miriam Margolyes has expressed her regret over a comment she made to Matthew Perry during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show.<\/p>\n<p>The Harry Potter actress, 82, appeared on the hit BBC show alongside the Friends actor, 54, and one of the most memorable moments from the series was when she shocked the crowd after admitting she had never seen an episode of the American sitcom.<\/p>\n<p>Miriam hilariously recalled the moment she moment \u00a0she met Sir Lawrence Olivier and becoming\u00a0so overwhelmed that she \u2018started to cream in my knickers\u2019 \u2013 which made the Chandler Bing star very \u2018uncomfortable.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>However, in the latest set of quotes from Oh Miriam: Stories from an Extraordinary Life, she revealed her guilt after asking whether Matthew \u2018was an alcoholic.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>As reported by The Independent, Miriam wrote:\u2019 Matthew was expecting a bland conversation that stayed on the surface of things, but I was warming to my theme and immediately launched in, burrowing deeper.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2018On reflection, I really wish I hadn\u2019t,\u2019 said Miriam, adding this was one of the few times she \u2018didn\u2019t quite mesh\u2019 with another guest on a chat show\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Miriam Margolyes has never seen Friends -
