However, these few A-list couples are living proof that amicable divorces do happen, and happen more often than you’d think!<\/p>\n An amicable divorce can be defined as a civil divorce that ends peacefully, and without a huge courtroom fight, according to LegalMatch. Most of the time, they reach a simple set of conditions about child custody, spousal support, property division, and more, where both parties are pleased with the outcome.<\/p>\n Some of these couples had their divorces finalized in less than six months, and have remained friendly since. Others may have taken a while to get the divorce finalized, but they remain best friends (and the best of co-parents) even decades after the fact.<\/p>\n From Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin to Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, these celebrity couples show amicable splits can definitely happen.<\/p>\n Check out which celebrity couples had super amicable divorces below:<\/p>\n Demi Moore and Bruce Willis have been blended family goals for years, despite divorcing in 2000. Their divorce was quite amicable, and their daughters saw them 50\/50. Truly, no bad blood here!<\/p>\n<\/article>\n<\/li>\n Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are not only great at co-parenting their two kids, but they’re the king and queen of “conscious uncoupling.” After nearly 14 years together, Paltrow filed for divorce in 2015 and it was quickly finalized the year after. They remain incredibly close to this day, with Paltrow praising Martin’s girlfriend Dakota Johnson and even saying she sees Martin as a “brother” to her.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n<\/li>\n Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth’s divorce in 2013 was truly a 50\/50 split. They both denied child support and agreed on 50\/50 custody of their daughters. And in a unique turn of events, it turns out they have a joint bank account they both put money in monthly that’s solely for their children’s welfare, per DivorceMag.
