The Screaming Jets musician Paul Woseen has died aged 56.<\/p>\n
The heartbreaking news was confirmed by bandmates in an emotional statement.<\/p>\n
They wrote: \u2018It is with broken hearts that we tell you our beloved brother in rock Paul Woseen has passed away today.<\/p>\n
\u2018We are shattered, dealing with the loss of Paully.<\/p>\n
\u2018He was a brilliant, shining light in all our lives.<\/p>\n
\u2018Our hearts are with Paully\u2019s family, and we ask that you respect our need for privacy at this time.\u2019<\/p>\n

The cause of Woseen\u2019s death has not yet been confirmed.<\/p>\n
Woseen was a founding member of the Australian rock band that began in 1989, alongside Dave Gleeson,\u00a0Richard Lara, Brad Heaney, and Grant Walmsley, who left in 2007.<\/p>\n
Three of the group\u2019s albums made in the top\u00a0five on the Australian\u00a0ARIA Charts \u2013 All for One\u00a0(1991),\u00a0Tear of Thought\u00a0(1992), and\u00a0The Screaming Jets\u00a0(1995).<\/p>\n

Woseen released his own solo album in 2013, which was titled Bombido.<\/p>\n
The band most recently released Nothing to Lose, from their their upcoming tenth studio album,\u00a0Professional Misconduct, in July this year.<\/p>\n
The band are set to go on a four-month-long tour from November following the album release on October 6.<\/p>\n
