A Gogglebox star who\u2019s been on the show for a decade has quit with his partner.<\/p>\n
In a statement, it was confirmed that Stephen Webb and Daniel Lustig-Webb had decided to step away from the Channel 4 programme.<\/p>\n
\u2018After a brilliant and illustrious time on Gogglebox, Stephen and Daniel have decided that now is the right time to explore life beyond the sofa and leave the show,\u2019 said show creators Studio Lambert and Channel 4.<\/p>\n
\u2018As one of the original Goggleboxers, Stephen has entertained the nation with his hilarious quips since the show first started in 2013, sharing his opinions on the best and biggest TV events of the last ten years. <\/p>\n
\u2018We would like to thank him and Daniel for being utterly brilliant contributors to the show, and we wish them well with their future projects.\u2019<\/p>\n
Stephen first joined Gogglebox as one of the original stars in 2013 for season one, with his former partner Christopher Steed.<\/p>\n

After Christopher left the series in 2017, Stephen\u2019s mother Pat Webb took his place from series 10 to 12.<\/p>\n
Daniel has joined Stephen since series 13, appearing on Gogglebox from 2019.<\/p>\n
Stephen and Daniel addressed their departure from the programme in identical statements posted on Instagram, which read: \u2018After careful consideration, Daniel and I have decided we will not be returning for the new series of Gogglebox.<\/p>\n
\u2018We feel the time is right to move on and explore other opportunities. <\/p>\n
\u2018We would both like to thank Channel 4 and Studio Lambert for letting us be part of this amazing, funny and heartwarming show.<\/p>\n

\u2018We are also extremely thankful to the cast and crew, or Gogglebox family as we call them and of course the fans, thank you for all of your love & support over the years.\u2019<\/p>\n
In the caption of his post, Stephen wrote: \u2018After an incredible 10 years\u2026. \u2764\ufe0f,\u2019 while Daniel added: \u2018What a ride it\u2019s been. Big love \u2764\ufe0f.\u2019<\/p>\n
In addition to their statements, the couple also released a video with the fans in mind, \u2018just to say thank you for all your love and support over the years\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u2018It really has meant a lot,\u2019 Stephen continued. \u2018We just wanted to do this video just to say thank you to you guys.\u2019<\/p>\n

Daniel blew a kiss at the camera, before his partner stressed that if viewers get \u2018withdrawal symptoms\u2019, then \u2018we are available on Netflix\u2019.<\/p>\n
Fans were also urged to visit their salon for a haircut, as Stephen concluded: \u2018It\u2019s been an absolute ride and an absolute pleasure, but don\u2019t forget \u2013\u00a0Channel 4, 9 o\u2019clock, on a Friday, Gogglebox!\u2019<\/p>\n
As devsatated fans expressed their upset over Stephen and Daniel leaving, several stars of Gogglebox also wished them well.<\/p>\n
\u2018Gonna miss you both \ud83d\ude2d\ud83d\ude2d\ud83d\udc97\ud83d\udc97,\u2019 wrote Izzi Warner, as Simon Minty added: \u2018So sorry to hear this, Jane and I will miss you. <\/p>\n
