in a post on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>The Dragon&#8217;s Den\u00a0star and the Prince of Wales, 41, spent the day together yesterday visiting a number of businesses in the south of England that are working towards ending homelessness.<\/p>\n<p>It is an issue close to the royal&#8217;s heart: he recently launched his\u00a0Homewards project, an initiative which\u00a0seeks to make &#8216;rough sleeping, sofa surfing and other forms of temporary accommodation a thing of the past&#8217;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As part of his advocacy work towards ending homelessness, William invited Steven to spend the day in Bournemouth, where they hosted a roundtable together as well as visiting several businesses.<\/p>\n<p>During the roundtable, where they hosted a group of local business leaders, the pair discussed how organisations could work to hire more homeless individuals.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/08\/10\/75204993-12495401-Prince_William_pictured_left_asked_Steven_Bartless_pictured_righ-a-20_1694166429989.jpg\" height=\"463\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Prince William (pictured, left) asked Steven Bartless (pictured, right) to spend the day with him to discuss homelessness initiatives\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/08\/10\/75204999-12495401-During_the_day_the_pair_visited_Bournemouth_businesses_which_are-a-21_1694166439633.jpg\" height=\"472\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>During the day, the pair visited Bournemouth businesses which are working to end homelessness, including Pret a Manger (pictured) where they donned aprons and made coffee<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/08\/10\/75205001-12495401-Steven_Bartlett_pictured_left_described_the_prince_pictured_righ-a-24_1694166586200.jpg\" height=\"836\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Steven Bartlett (pictured, left) described the prince (pictured, right) as\u00a0&#8216;authentically kind&#8217; in his Instagram post<\/p>\n<p>The first stop of the day was Pret A Manger in Bournemouth, where both Steven and William donned aprons, before getting stuck into work.<\/p>\n<p>Taking to Instagram to write about the day, Steven revealed that the pair &#8216;made coffees, sandwiches, and got to meet some of the incredible team members that are former refugees, former inmates and formerly homeless!&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The post continued: &#8216;We drove over to Bournemouth FC and met players from the Men&#8217;s and Women&#8217;s team who had come through the bounce back program and used football to change their lives.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Entrepreneur Steven then revealed that he was &#8216;lucky enough to have a few moments to ask the future king some questions on his own personal motivations and how he manages his time&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Following their engagements at Pret a Manger and Bournemouth FC, the pair hosted their roundtable.<\/p>\n<p>According to Steven&#8217;s Instagram post: &#8216;This is just the beginning of a big piece of work we&#8217;re planning to do with Prince William, Homewards and the UK business community to help get homeless people (and former inmates) back into work, to up-skill them and to end homelessness for good!&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>He ended his post with a touching side note.<\/p>\n<p>In it, he said: &#8216;If you had told me as a kid, I would be spending the day with Prince William, the future King &#8211; I would never ever ever believed you.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/08\/10\/75206703-12495401-The_Dragon_s_Den_star_wrote_about_the_day_he_spent_with_the_roya-a-30_1694166674319.jpg\" height=\"500\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The Dragon&#8217;s Den star wrote about the day he spent with the royal in a long post on Instagram (pictured)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/08\/10\/75206689-12495401-image-a-33_1694166712650.jpg\" height=\"454\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The day the pair spent together was in aid of William&#8217;s advocacy work towards ending homelessness<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/08\/10\/75206693-12495401-image-a-36_1694166764035.jpg\" height=\"379\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Steven (pictured, centre) also revealed in his post that his parents are ardent royalists, making the day with Prince William something he was very grateful for<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I grew up with a Nigerian mother and an English dad who both adore the royal family.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;One of my earliest memories is watching my mum and dad cry when Diana died.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>He then praised the royal, writing: &#8216;William has a wonderful way with people, and he was authentically kind both on and off camera today!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Thank you to whatever force in the universe put me there today, I&#8217;m so grateful and a little confused.
