Why is EastEnders not tonight and when is it next on?

EastEnders has had us gripped to of late with dramatic storylines featuring both the Carters and the Slaters.

We’re also poised to see the return of Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) very soon, as she has some words of wisdom to impart on her sister Denise Fox (Diane Parish).

However, viewers keen to see what is in store next for the residents of Walford will have to wait a little longer, as EastEnders isn’t on as usual tonight.

Why is EastEnders not tonight?

EastEnders isn’t on tonight, Friday, November 13, as normal because of Children In Need 2020.

The annual fundraising show – which this year will feature performances from the like of Little Mix, Shawn Mendes and Kylie Minogue – will take up the slot usually filled with the BBC soap.

When is EastEnders next on?

To make up for the fact that EastEnder is not airing this evening as usual, there was an additional episode earlier this week on Tuesday (November 10).

EastEnders will return as normal on Monday, November 16 and will see Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) falter over the plans for the robbery while Denise finally musters up the courage to tell Raymond Dawkins that she is his birth mother.

EastEnders continues on Monday November 16 at 8.05pm on BBC One.
