Though the role has been played by Daniel Craig for the past 14 years, the actor will still be playing James Bond in the film, but Lynch’s character will take over his agent number after he retires.

“There is a pivotal scene at the start of the film where M says ‘Come in 007’, and in walks Lashana who is black, beautiful and a woman. It’s a popcorn-dropping moment. Bond is still Bond but he’s been replaced as 007 by this stunning woman,” an insider told the outlet.

Though the movie is still in its early stages of filming, it is evident that Bond 25 will be much more inclusive than its earlier installments.
