BBC's Waterloo Road was beloved by many viewers for the programmes dramatic storylines and incredible cast of young actors.
It's been a jaw-dropping 15 years since the iconic show set in a Rochdale school first graced our television screens.
And now, as Waterloo Road prepares to return for a brand new series – what are the actors who played the likes of Janeece Bryant, Jonah Kirby, and twins Shona and Rona Mansfield up to now?
From well-known soap actors, wellness coaches, Radio One DJs and singers – we're giving you the lowdown on where the cast are today, years after entertaining us in the Waterloo Road Comprehensive School corridors.
Chelsee shot to fame on Waterloo Road playing the role of Janice Bryant.
She starred in the school drama series from 2006 until 2012.
Her sassy characters was adored by fans before the star made her move to Hollyoaks where she plays Goldie, who is part of the iconic McQueen family.
Now at 33, she's mother to daughter, Coco.
Aside from being on Hollyoaks since 2016 the actress starred in Strictly Come Dancing in 2011, Casualty back in 2014, along with a series of Celebs Go Dating.
Spellman played Harry Fisher on the BBC show back in 2010, with the actor being just 14 years old.
Now at 26, the star has even had a stint as a radio DJ for BBC Radio One, making his debut in 2013 on the Request Show and going on to present in 2015 on Sunday afternoons alongside Katie Thistleton.
He put his DJ career on pause in 2020 and went on to take the lead role of Marcus in Netflix drama White Lines.
He's also known for playing the role of Matt Williams in popular ITV drama Cold Feet. He played the role of James Nesbitt's character's son from 2016 until 2020.
Cel's other ventures have included presenting for CBBC and ITV's The Voice's social media reporter.
Hope and Millie Katana
Hope and Millie Katana, who played the iconic twins Shona and Rhona Mansfield in the show about a school in Rochdale, are now incredible singers and social media sirens.
The identical twins joined the popular BBC show programme back in 2009, but left aged 16 to return to their first love of music.
They're also Instagram stars, with the pair sharing scorching pictures with their thousands of followers.
Hope, who played Shona, has almost 8,000 followers on Instagram, and she regularly shares gorgeous snaps on the social media site.
Millie, who played Rhona, has just over 6,000 followers on Instagram and also has shared some smoking selfies to the online platform.
They duo are in a band together called The KTNA, and regularly post their music online.
Lucien was on Waterloo Road back in 2010, playing the role of school heartthrob Jonah Kirby until 2011.
In 2011, the star was a housemate in Celebrity Big Brother, with the actor hunk lasting until the final week, finishing in fifth place.
His acting career has continued since his time on the BBC show, with the star playing lead role of Ennis Ross in Supernatural: Bloodlines the spin-off of US show Supernatural.
He also played the recurring role of Earl Grey in Fox's US horror comedy series Scream Queens.
Darcy, 28, has certainly grown up a lot since she acted in the popular drama series about a comprehensive school.
Isa, who is also now a makeup artist, regularly posts sexy snaps on her Instagram to her legions of followers.
Aside from Waterloo Road, Darcy starred in other television shows, including Grange Hill, in which she played Andrea O'Mally in 2008.
The actress has also been in Casualty and Shameless.
Katie McGlynn is well-known now for playing Sinead Tinker on Coronation Street, with her character tragically dying of cancer on the ITV soap.
She has since moved on to pastures new, portraying Becky Quentin in Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, as well as taking part in this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Back in the day, Katie looked unrecognisable as she played Scout on Waterloo Road.
She became part of the high-school TV show eight years ago, playing the role of Jodie "Scout" Allen until 2013.
Katie rocked a fiery ginger bob and sweeping fringe, the bare-faced actress looked completely different years before being on Corrie.
The actress recently left the cobbles where she had played the role of Sinead since 2013.
Corrie Daniel Osbourne star Rob Mallard unrecognisable in Waterloo Road throwback
Katie McGlynn wasn't the only Coronation Street star to act in Waterloo Road, as her on-screen Corrie husband Rob Mallard was also on the telly show.
Rob, who is currently playing Daniel Osbourne on the beloved ITV soap, was once on Waterloo Road too.
He looked dramatically different when he was on the show, with the actor adopting a dark wet-look hairdo, worlds away from his now lighter locks.
Since being on Waterloo Road, Rob has bagged roles on other shows like Emmerdale, Fresh Meat and Pound House.
He's now a main character on Corrie, and been part of some sizzling storylines since he joined the show in 2016.
Best known for her role as Mika Grainger in Waterloo Road, Lauren has also gone on to be a soap star, appearing in Coronation Street along with Rob and Katie.
She played Jane Bestwick, a Radio Weatherfield presenter who helped fundraise for Chesney and Gemma's quadruplets when they were born.
But that wasn't Lauren's only role on the cobbles, as she also popped up back in 2001 as teenager Christie Wells, and stayed in the Derbyshire campsite where the Croppers, Platts and Websters took a trip.
The star has also appeared in everything from Holby City and Doctors to Silent Witness.
She regularly keeps fans updated with what's going on in her life on Instagram, including snaps of her various swanky trips abroad.
Ellie Paskell shot to fame as Maxine Barlow in Waterloo Road, a role she played from 2007 until 2009.
Her character, who was best known in the show for being addicted to drugs, met a sticky end when she was murdered by her ex-boyfriend Earl Kelly after breaking up with him.
She went on to have acting success in programmes like Casualty, Doctors and Shameless – but eventually swapped out her acting career for something a lot different.
According to her Instagram page, Ellie is now a 'somatic soul coach', a type of meditation crossed with yoga, providing followers with body and mind centred techniques to help them cope with stresses.
She even plays guitar, and often posts singing covers to her social media channels.
But fans won't let her forget her Waterloo Road days, as they regularly flock to the comments section to remind her.
On one clip of Ellie sharing her singing talent with the world, one fan commented: "Loved this, can’t believe how different you are in Waterloo Road!! Just started watching it again!"
While someone else said: "U have a beautiful voice x I missed u in Waterloo Road, wish they wouldn't kill u off love u xx".
Katie portrayed sassy Chlo Grainger in the BBC show before moving on in 2009.
Since her tenure at Waterloo Road ended, Katie has gone on to appear in Doctors as four different characters, as well as Casualty, Father Brown and Prime Suspect: Tennison.
She also caused quite a stir among One Direction super-fans – as she was reportedly spotted with star Liam Payne back in 2012.
However, rumours of a relationship between the pair were never confirmed.
Katie even went up for an audition for the part of Cinderella in hit musical Into The Woods, telling The Telegraph and Argus: "I was up for the part of Cinderella, it eventually went to Anna Kendrick who was already a star.
"But I had great feedback from the producer and was told that if they'd decided to cast an unknown actress it would've been me."
