Tipping Point chaos as Ben Shephard tells off ex-BBC Breakfast star on ITV show

Tipping Point host Ben Shephard was forced to remind Louise Minchin the rules of the ITV game show during the latest celebrity edition of the programme.

The former BBC Breakfast presenter, 53, executed a brilliant performance while participating in the popular television series.

However, an eager Louise who was keen to answer the questions thrown at her before Ben finished speaking and was later given some advice by the host that she took on board.

The former I'm A Celebrity contestant did eventually take the note and managed to finish the rest of the show without interrupting.

Although she was quick to the buzzer with correct answers, the machine wasn't as bountiful for her as it was for her competitors Josh Widdicombe and Michelle Ackley.

Louise missed out on a spot in the final round after Josh made a lucky breakthrough on counters and surpassed the former BBC Breakfast host's prize pot.

Josh made it to the final but Louise still walked away from the quiz show over with £2,000 for her charity.

The comedian made the most of his spot in the final and left with a whopping £20,000 for his chosen charity.

Elsewhere in the show, Louise opened up about her husband David Minchin's cancer battle.

Before leaving the show, Ben said: "Louise, sadly we have found your Tipping Point but the good news is you’ve won £2,600 for your charity.

"Can you tell us what it is?”

“Oh thank you so much for that,” Louise replied.

"You’ve already heard I’m a bit passionate about exercise.

"This charity is called Move and it works with people who are suffering with cancer or affected by cancer to get them moving.

"My husband had cancer when he was 28 so he would have very much benefitted from a charity like this.
