Davina McCall wasn't afraid to share her raw thoughts as she tried to figure out who was the hidden identity of Doughnuts on The Masked Singer.

On Saturday night Davina left viewers giggling at their TVs as the judges took a stab at naming the identity of the person behind the mask.

As Doughnuts appeared on screen following another successful stint on the show, viewers were already chuckling away as the celebrity sang Spice Girls' Spice Up Your Life.

Viewers were left in hysterics and as guesses started to get thrown around, Jonathan Ross said he believed it could be Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney.

Davina, however, was adamant that couldn't be the case as she chirped: "I don't think Wayne Rooney is that funny," before adding: "We're savage tonight."

Taking to Twitter, fans couldn't help but laugh at her savage quip as one user wrote: "I don't think Wayne Rooney is that funny", alongside a sea of laughing emojis.

Another said: "Wayne Rooney looool".

Wayne wasn't the only one named as Doughnuts on Saturday night, with the likes of Gary Linekar, Michael Owen and H from Steps all becoming strong guesses.

In the clues shared by Doughnut, there were multiple references to sport, with the celebrity describing themselves as "extra speedy" and said they could "run ice rings" around the competition.

They added: "Being one of the best was always one of my goals," and said: "As well as being sweet, I've also been savoury."

Doughnuts also made reference to being a jockey, leaving fans' minds truly boggled.

While the football clues could hint at Wayne Rooney, it seems most fans agree with Davina and have disregard him – instead, Michael Owen remains a strong guess.

While the football and sport references certainly do point people in the direction of Michael, it's the jockey comment that truly has fans convinced.

He owns his own horses and has previously described his "third love" after his family as football and horse racing, so it's definitely up for debate…

Whether or not Doughnuts will be unmasked will solely depend on how well they do in the competition – the more they impress the judges, the longer fans will have to wait.
