There was a new brand new batch of contestants getting set to take on the chaser Shaun Wallace tonight.
Up first on The Chase was contestant Lyndon from Gloucestershire.
Lyndon put on an impressive performance in the cash builder round, netting an impressive £8,000.
But despite his stellar efforts, Lyndon left viewers raging with his "rude" habit. Lyndon stood with his arms folded for the entire duration of the cash builder round.
Viewers took to Twitter to fume about the habit.
One social networker ranted: "Still has his arms crossed?!"
While another continued: "Unfold your arms man. It's rude."
A third added: "Perhaps he has a rare medical condition where he has to fold his arms constantly."
While a fourth remarked: "Unfold your arms – you look arrogant."
But clearly the folded arms worked with Lyndon, as he was able to bring home the £8,000 back to the team.
It looked like it was curtains for Lyndon, as he failed to answer a question correctly that host Bradley Walsh was sure Shaun would get right.
Just one step from being home and dry, Bradley asked Lyndon and Shaun what "discombobulate" means.
Lyndon incorrectly answered "eating" and was convinced it meant game over for him. However, Shaun also guessed incorrectly, choosing the "dissect" option.
A flabbergasted Bradley couldn't believe he'd got the answer wrong, and it couldn't help but rib Shaun.
Shaun responded: "I've never heard of it!"
A flustered Bradley replied: "You're a barrister!"
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV
