The Chase fans distracted as Sarah Millican lookalike goes up against The Beast

The Chase viewers were left in stitches as fans couldn’t but notice the striking resemblance one contestant had to the loveable comedian, Sarah Millican.

On Tuesday night former Coronation Street star Bradley Walsh was joined by Charlie, Molly, Carole and Keith in an effort to battle it out to take home the cash prize.

And in the latest instalment of the hit ITV show, the intelligent foursome took on Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett as they put their hard work and preparation to the test for the all-important quiz.

But as Carole stood up to the podium to take on the 56-year-old, fans couldn’t help but notice how similar the contestant bared to that of the Geordie stand-up comic.

And fans soon took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the retired teacher as she took attempted to bank £5,000.

One viewer asked: “Is Is it just me or does carole on #thechase today look like she could [email protected]'s mum?"

Another added: "Sarah Millican's off to a good start" as Carole powered through the quiz round.

A third chimed in with: “Blimey, Sarah Millican is showing her age!” whereas another argued Carole resembled: “Sarah Millican when she’s 70.”
